Alongside the OPPTY web application, the open banking loyalty platform was also used as a Whitelabel solution for our B2B clients, for example Comdirect. For each Whitelabel partner we used to offer an own branding plus landingpage to explain the product.
As the old design of Comdirects „Make a deal“ was outdated, the theming needed an update.

Clients of Comdirect who want to use the loyalty platform

are confused by the design, as it is very different to the rest of the Comdirect brand world.

Old Theming
The old color theming and branding was outdated with an off brand color palette.

Analysis
To design a better fitting product theming for the Whitelabel alongside the Comdirect brand world, we first did a product world analysis to check existing designs inside the brand universe.

Insights
In the quick analysis, the following 2 aspects and design differences stood out in particular:
Dark Mode
Most of the screens in the Comdirect product world are designed in a dark mode with a dark background and brighter font and design highlights
Button
The button color is continuously in their brand yellow
New proposals
For the new theming we changed the colors into the main brand colors and made 3 proposals
